Famous authors of books for children read classic hockey stories at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, November 25, 2004 — Organized in conjunction with the highly successful exhibition “Rocket” Richard: The Legend — The Legacy, the Canadian Museum of Civilization invites you — “Rocket” and hockey fans alike — to join us on December 5 for a programme of children’s hockey literature.
Inspired by the late, great Maurice Richard, authors Roch Carrier and Avi Slodovnick have in turn inspired generations of children across Canada and around the world with their stories about the “Rocket”. Meet and hear these authors read from their respective classic hockey stories The Hockey Sweater and The Hockey Card.

“Rocket” Richard: The Legend — The Legacy was produced in partnership with Canada Post and will be presented at the Canadian Museum of Civilization until February 20, 2005.
