A Festival of Lights at the Canadian Children’s Museum Sunday, December 5 Gatineau, Quebec, November 25, 2004 — Children and their families are invited to discover the many different ways people from around the world spread light and joy at the darkest time of the year. On Sunday, December 5, everyone is welcome to participate in a Festival of Lights at the Canadian Children’s Museum (part of the Canadian Museum of Civilization) from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kids can join in the Mexican procession, Los Posados, and help break a piñata filled with toys and candy. Or they can learn the Jewish game of dreidel, discover the Hindu celebration of Diwali, or make a Filipino Christmas parol star.
