Ukrainian Museum of Canada

We’re bringing Spring back!

Threaded in History

The UMC was born from a dream to establish a place, by and through which Ukrainian heritage and Ukrainian culture could thrive. It would be a place where visitors would learn about Ukrainians and Ukrainian Canadians, and more importantly, learn and understand Ukrainian customs and traditions and their impact on the global community.

Taking into account the strong cultural prejudice against Ukrainian Canadians in the 1930’s, that dream was quite bold.

Stopping by the Museum?

This year, as with everything else, the Museum may be a bit different, but just like pioneers who adapted to a changing world and it’s events, we will adapt and change too. To accommodate the changing times, and reduced staff, we are changing our hours of operation!

We will be open to the public on Wednesdays – Fridays from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
