Ms. Suzanne LeBlanc appointed Vice-President of Public Relations and Publishing at the Canadian Museum Of Civilization
Gatineau, Quebec, February 28, 2003 — The Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne LeBlanc to the position of Vice-President, Public Relations and Publishing.
Ms. LeBlanc has twelve years’ experience in the management of public affairs and international communications. Her track record includes numerous successes in the development and implementation of communication strategies in the areas of finance, culture and tourism.
Ms. LeBlanc was a member of the management team of the Mouvement Desjardins and has held management positions with the Société de gestion des arts de Montréal (SOGAM), the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Musée du Québec and Pointe-à-Callière (Montréal Museum of Archaeology and History). Ms. LeBlanc has headed La Fondation du Musée du Québec, in addition to having directed and worked with several teams in America and Europe on a number of museum projects.
As a former contributor to the daily newspaper La Presse, Ms. LeBlanc has developed valuable expertise over the years in working with domestic and foreign media.
