Memoranda of Understanding

WHEREAS, the _________________________ and the Canadian Museum of Civilization share a concern for the presentation of Canada's history and cultural heritage.

AND WHEREAS the _________________________ and the Canadian Museum of Civilization recognize the value to both institutions and to the people of Canada and the benefits of cooperation in the presentation of that history and cultural heritage.

THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN BY THESE PRESENTS that the _________________________ and the Canadian Museum of Civilization undertake to explore ways and means to affect such cooperation and to enter into discussions to examine the possibilities and mutual benefits in respect to curatorial, conservation, public programming and other areas of established practice. AND FURTHER that the _________________________ and the Canadian Museum of Civilization will examine the potential that might exist for framing this association in a formalized relationship, if and when such is seen as a desirable and effective way of enhancing cooperation between the two institutions to the benefit of the people of Canada.
