International Women’s Day Cabaret at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, February 8, 2005 — The Canadian Museum of Civilization invites to you to come celebrate International Women’s Day on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m., with a cabaret concert in the Museum’s beautiful Theatre. Woman with Art, co-produced with MUSIKART Productions, features cabaret singer Nathalie Nadon and the Michael Barber Trio. Malaika, a group of a capella singers, will get the evening off to a good start.
Nathalie will take you from Europe to Brooklyn, during the 1920s to the 1940s, with songs from Trenet, Piaf, Boyer, Fréhel, Aznavour and Brel. With her jazzy style, she will captivate you with Porter, Gershwin, Ray Charles and many more!
