Come relive the 1960s at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, February 11, 2005 — In conjunction with the new exhibition Cool ’60s Design which opens on February 25, the Canadian Museum of Civilization presents two special events that are sure to bring back good memories from the 1960s.
In our Coffee and Conversation series, come and enjoy a coffee with Paul Bourassa of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, co-author of the award-winning book Le design au Québec. During his talk, he will lead you in a rediscovery of Expo 67 and designs of the decade.

On February 27, in a coffee bistro set-up, Susan McMaster of Geode Music & Poetry will entertain the public with a spoken word performance, a form of music in which lyrics are spoken rather than sung. She and her musicians will present a unique blend of music that echoes the 1960s.
