Canadian Museum of Civilization wins Tourism award of excellence
Gatineau, Quebec, March 4, 2005 — A top tourism award went to the Canadian Museum of Civilization this week for its outstanding achievements and its contribution to the development of tourism in the National Capital Region. The Museum received the Large Company of the Year award at the annual Ottawa Tourism Awards Gala, held at the Corel Centre on Wednesday, March 2, 2005.

The Canadian Museum of Civilization is the largest and most visited museum in Canada. This summer will feature five new special exhibitions: Cool ’60s Design; Beads of Life: Eastern and Southern African Adornments; Your House, My House; A Caring Profession: Centuries of Nursing in Canada; and Pompeii.
