Giving blood is a matter of life Blood donor clinic at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, March 24, 2005 — Héma-Québec, in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC), will hold a blood donor clinic in the Museum’s Grand Hall on April 7. This community initiative of the Canadian Museum of Civilization will allow residents of the region to give this precious gift while benefiting from free parking and free admission to the CMC. The Museum cares about the mission of Héma-Québec and the health of the community.
In Quebec, someone needs blood every 80 seconds. Thanks to the generosity of citizens willing to share the advantages of good health, the hospitals in the Outaouais region and Quebec will be assured of a sufficient blood supply to meet the demand.
