Discover the sights, sounds and flavours of Africa at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, April 11, 2005 — In conjunction with the new exhibition Beads of Life, the Canadian Museum of Civilization invites the public to two special events on April 22, 2005. Come and learn about the significance of the beautiful adornments crafted by African women, past and present, in the company of exhibition curator Marie-Louise Labelle. In the evening, taste fine South African wines before joining us for a concert featuring one of South Africa’s most powerful voices of freedom, superstar Lorraine Klaasen.
