Adventure World opens again at the Canadian Children’s Museum Gatineau, Quebec, May 6, 2005 — It’s springtime at the Canadian Children’s Museum, in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. On May 21, we open our outdoor Adventure World where the fun for visitors continues in a unique, fully enclosed exhibition park. You can challenge a friend to a game of chess on a larger-than-life game board, or play marbles or hopscotch. At Waterways, all hands are needed on the deck of the Missinaibi — the tugboat that was featured on the back of the one-dollar bill. And more!
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Saturday, May 21, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Rain date Sunday, May 22) Attend the most popular tea party in town with Alice, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, the Dormouse, the March Hare and a very Mad Hatter. Make your own Mad hat, play croquet with pink flamingos and join the Mad Hatter for tea and strawberry tarts.
