Coffee and Conversation series presents Uncovering Pompeii Gatineau, Quebec, May 17, 2005 — In conjunction with the new Pompeii exhibition presented from May 27 until September 12, 2005, the Canadian Museum of Civilization invites you to take part in its Coffee and Conversation series on May 28. The topic of the day is Uncovering Pompeii.
Dr. Antonia Holden, Associate Curator of the Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa, will present a highlighted discussion on the archaeological history of Pompeii, sure to enrich your appreciation of this special exhibition. You will learn about the interesting story of the discovery of Pompeii, the city frozen in time, two thousand years ago.
