Lifelines of Pompeii The fourth lecture on Pompeii Gatineau, Quebec, June 23, 2005 — On July 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m., the Canadian Museum of Civilization will present the fourth in the Pompeii lecture series, to complement to the new exhibition, POMPEII. This lecture, entitled Lifelines of Pompeii, is being given by Dr. A. Trevor Hodge, who will introduce you to the glory of Roman technology and its magnificent, but not indestructible aqueduct.
Dr. Trevor Hodge, Ph.D. is a retired professor who worked as Professor of Classical Archaeology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. He is an expert on ancient art and archaeology, his main field of research is Roman aqueducts. As well as being a frequent contributor to Canadian newspapers, he is a popular speaker for the Archaeology Institute of America and for CBC National Radio.
