Fun and games all summer long at the Canadian Children’s Museum Gatineau, Quebec, July 19, 2005 — Planning an outing or a trip with your children? You won’t want to miss a visit to the Canadian Children’s Museum at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, where we have lots of summer fun for you and your youngsters. Start with a visit to our Kaleidoscope Gallery and the special exhibition Your House, My House where, until September 6, you can step into homes from Mongolia, Fiji and Malaysia and learn how children in these countries live. Then, take in the Great Adventure, where you’ll experience the traditions and daily activities of children from around the world as well as close to home. You can also head outdoors for more fun and games in Adventure World, our unique, fully enclosed park.
The activities are always special at the Canadian Children’s Museum. For example, help weave or felt a large tapestry or, better yet, weave a craft to take home. Or, how about dancing to the beat of an African drum, decorating the veranda of an Indian home, preparing tasty rice dishes from Asia, or participating in a building blitz? All this and more awaits you during the months of July and August at Canada’s national children’s museum.
