September surprises at the Canadian Children’s Museum Gatineau, Quebec, September 1, 2005 – The Canadian Children's Museum at the Canadian Museum of Civilization offers quality activities for children of all ages. On September 4, Caravane will provide a delightful finale to our summer activities. This award-winning Montreal troupe of Romanian origin is sure to put on a fantastic, original show, combining theatre, music, dance, giant puppets and Annabelle the Dragon.

The fun continues outdoors in Adventure World: our delightful, fully enclosed park where kids can play marbles or hopscotch, have a chess match with a friend on a giant chessboard, or make a kite or a boat. The park will be open only until September 19, so be sure to take advantage of it while you can.
Starting September 23, Just for You and Your Preschooler will be back on Friday mornings. From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., preschool visitors and their accompanying adults can enjoy adventures designed to help young children discover our exhibitions. On September 24 and 25, you can Knead It, Roll It, Bake It! and create a delicious apple pie in the Studio between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
All these activities are included in the price of Museum admission.
Please note that from September 6 to October 10, the Canadian Children's Museum will be open until 6:00 p.m. seven days a week. Starting October 11, it will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
