Les Journées de la culture: Free Activities at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Gatineau, Quebec, September 19, 2005 — Once again this year, the Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC) is taking part in Les Journées de la culture (September 30 to October 2, 2005) with a host of free activities for visitors of all ages.
On Friday, September 30, there will be a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum, providing visitors with an overview of the remarkable archives and collections of artifacts housed at the CMC. Note that there is a limit on the number of participants for this activity. On Saturday, October 1, come and meet characters straight out of Canada’s history, courtesy of the Museum’s theatre company, Dramamuse. On all three days of Les Journées de la culture, visitors can also learn about postal history while having fun with a variety of hands-on activities.

Please note, however, that free admission is offered only for activities related to Les Journées de la Culture. Admission is required to take advantage of all other ongoing activities, as well as to visit the Museum’s exhibitions.
