The Canada Hall presents one thousand years of Canada’s social history. It recreates sights and sounds from the country's past, beginning with the arrival of Norse explorers in the East circa A.D. 1000, sweeping through time and geography to recent eras, to bring to life our country’s development as a land of settlement and adaptation. Life-size settings of buildings and environments, furnished with significant artifacts from the national collection and animated by actors of the Museum’s troupe Dramamuse, make history meaningful and fun for visitors of all ages. A floor plan of the Canada Hall is available at the Information desk.
