Juno Award winner Connie Kaldor at the Canadian Museum of Civilization

Gatineau, Quebec, October 28, 2005 — Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter and author Connie Kaldor will perform at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on November 6. This accomplished artist will entertain children in the afternoon with songs that will get them clapping and stomping. Then, in an evening concert, she will chronicle the western experience with the seamless combination of musical skill and repartee that has made Kaldor a Canadian celebrity.

Born in Saskatchewan, Ms. Kaldor has collaborated on many albums, one of which is the children's recording Lullaby Berceuse with renowned children's entertainer Carmen Campagne, and she has released numerous CDs of her own. She has toured India, China, Europe, the United States and has appeared at most major concert venues in Canada. She recently hosted a 13-part television music variety show, and will be hosting the first Canadian Folk Music awards program in December. Ms. Caldor has won many awards and distinctions for her work in children’s, country and folk-style music.
