Free admission and extended hours on Remembrance Day
at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, November 2, 2005 — November 11 is Remembrance Day and admission is free at both the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum. Both museums will be open until 6 p.m., exceptionally, on Friday, November 11, 2005. To commemorate this event, the Canadian Postal Museum of the Canadian Museum of Civilization will provide a unique view of Canadian experiences through a staged reading by Dramamuse, the Museum’s resident theatre company. Letters from the Front presents correspondence sent by soldiers to their families. These sometimes humorous, sometimes touching letters will offer a glimpse of a soldier’s life during the war.
