Meet the stars of the popular television series
Gatineau, Quebec, November 18, 2005 — Come to the Canadian Museum of Civilization and meet Tim and Deanna Treadway from the popular History Channel television series, Pioneer Quest. The series chronicled the experiences of two 21st-century couples who lived just as prairie pioneers did in 1875. Deanna and Tim will share their riveting story and recall the tremendous “real-life” challenges of transforming a piece of prairie wilderness into a vibrant homestead, using the same simple hand tools owned by prairie pioneers of the late 1800s.
