A Pioneer Quest Christmas How the prairie pioneers celebrated Christmas Gatineau, Quebec, November 21, 2005 — Come to the Canadian Museum of Civilization and meet Tim and Deanna Treadway from the popular History Channel television series, Pioneer Quest. The series chronicled the experiences of two 21st-century couples who left their comfortable homes to live for a year as prairie pioneers in the “real West”. Deanna and Tim will share their extraordinary story of a pioneer Christmas and explain how our Prairie sodbusters celebrated the holiday on the edge of wilderness in the late 1800s.
