Wrap up the Season at the Canadian Postal Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, November 28, 2005 — December promises to be a busy month at the Canadian Postal Museum and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Come and take part in the many activities that are sure to please everyone.

Santa’s Longest Letter
December 3 and 4 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It’s time to write to Santa. Kids of all ages are invited to help us create the longest ever letter to Santa! With pen and paper in hand, children will be asked to write to Santa. These letters will then be sewn together to create a long letter that will be rolled up and sent to the North Pole!

Wrap up the Season
December 10, 11, 17 and 18 – 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Bring your small gifts to a workshop where you can create your own wrapping paper from a variety of materials. Then wrap up your presents and you’re done!

Special Delivery
From December to February – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Children and adults can take part in a series of interactive games, questionnaires, enigmas and other activities. Participants will learn about Canadian and European history by handling unusual objects, listening to amusing anecdotes and playing challenging games where fun is guaranteed.

These activities are free with Museum admission and will take place in the Canadian Postal Museum. Sponsored by Canada Post.
