Poems of War, Poets for Peace at the Canadian War Museum Ottawa, Ontario, December 5, 2005 – A public reading of poetry this week will shine a spotlight on peace. "Poems of War, Poets for Peace" is the latest installment of PEN Canada's Readers & Writers programme. On December 8, six Canadian and exiled writers will gather at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa to read from their works. The poets who will be reading are Amatoritsero Ede of Nigeria and Goran Simic of Bosnia, as well as Canadian writers Marie Clements, Stephen Heighton, Serge Patrice Thibodeau and First Nations singer/songwriter Tamara Podemski.
