Holiday Schedule and Annual Closing
at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum
Gatineau, Quebec, December 15, 2005 — The Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum will be open from December 20 to January 2, including New Year’s Day. Both museums will close at 3 p.m. on December 24 and remain closed on December 25.
The museums are normally open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursday evenings, both museums stay open until 9 p.m. (except for the Canadian Children’s Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization, which closes at 5 p.m.).
Annual Closure
After the holidays, both museums will be closed for annual maintenance from January 9 to 13, 2006. At the Canadian Museum of Civilization, this includes the IMAX® Theatre and the Café du Musée. Parking garage at both museums will remain open.
