Collecting Canadian Craft (working title)

This magnificent exhibition celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Saidye Bronfman Award by looking at works of recipients of the award as well as other Canadians. Drawn from the Museum’s collection, the works reflect what has influenced Canadian craftspeople over the past 30 years and the issues they have explored.


Content:
Approximately 120 works — ceramics, glass, textiles, wood and metal — created by about 70 craftspeople from across the country.

Presented at CMC from October 19, 2006 to May 29, 2007
