As part of the coronation celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953, ten beasts which best represent Her Majesty’s royal descent were sculpted by the distinguished artist James Woodford to adorn Westminster Abbey. They are arranged here in the order by which they entered the royal pedigree.
