An evening of Tastes and Sounds of Winter at the Canadian Museum of CivilizationGatineau, Quebec January 30, 2006 — Come and spend a warm winter evening at the Canadian Museum of Civilization with the curator of the new exhibition Lace Up. After you've enjoyed a delicious bowl of pea soup, Bianca Gendreau will give a guided tour of the exhibition. Following the tour, wine expert Jacques Blouin from the Amicale des sommeliers de l'Outaouais will lead a tasting of ice wine and hors d'œuvres, enhanced by the sounds of hot jazz. If weather permits, you'll also be able to lace up your skates and show off your skills on our outdoor rink.
