This search supports wild cards (*, and, ?) and is not case sensitive. The most relevant content will appear at the top of your results. At its simplest, a query can be just a word or a phrase. But with the tips on this page, you can expand the focus of your query to give you more complete results. These tips will get you started with basic query language and acquaint you with the full power of our search engine.

For better results, do not type a question but keywords (i.e. "business start-up" instead of "what do I need to do to open a business?")

Start with specific keywords. If you do not obtain any results,

• Think of different words to use. Try to broaden your search by using general terms (i.e. "farm" or "agriculture" instead of "mushroom farm").

Refine your queries by selecting the scope of your search:

• This Phrase: search for documents that include the specific phrase you entered in the search field
  Sample: "When buying an existing business" - this search will retrieve all documents that contain the phrase "when buying an existing business"
  
  
• Any Word: search for documents that include any of the words you entered in the search field
  Sample: "buying existing business" - this search will retrieve all our documents that contain the word "buying", all our documents that contain the word "existing", and all documents that contain the word "business"
  
  
• All Words: search for documents that include all of the words you entered in the search field
  Sample: "buying existing business" - this search will retrieve all documents that contain the three words "buying", "existing" and "business"

Look for words with the same prefix.

• In your query form type key* to find all documents that have "key" as part of a word i.e. key, keying, keyhole, keyboard, and so on, or type th?? to retrieve all documents containing any 4 letter words that starts with "th".
