![]() Members of the Tibetan community in Montreal visit the Museum and add a festive air to the day's events with traditional Tibetan folk dance, folk music, and tea. Following ancient rituals, the monks begin to dismantle the mandala. The sand is swept up and gathered into an urn. The spiritual energy which was resident in the mandala is transferred to the wider environment as the sand is distributed to participants and deposited into a nearby body of running water. |
