Planning Your Visit

The Museum’s school programs are offered Tuesdays to Fridays from 12 September to 15 December 2006, and from 2 January to 22 June 2007 and also on Mondays in May and June. Please note a request for lunch facilities in your reservation.

Earliest and latest start times for school programs are 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. respectively. School programs last between 60 and 90 minutes and accommodate a maximum of 30 students per group. Combine activities and programs and stay for the whole day!

General Information

Reservations

Please make your reservation at least three weeks in advance by calling 613 993-4264 or click on the Reserve icon to fill out an on-line reservation request. Upon receiving your reservation, we will send you a confirmation letter. Please bring this confirmation letter with you on the day of your visit. If you must cancel your visit, please give us as much advance notice as possible. Your co-operation in respecting this request is appreciated.

Fees

Program fees are generally charged at a per person rate and include taxes. Please see individual program descriptions for specific fees. A minimum fee of $75 or $90 per group will be charged, depending on the program. Payment may be made in advance or on arrival by cash, credit card, debit or cheque made payable to the Canada Aviation Museum. Please note all prices and programs are subject to change without notice.

Special Needs

The Museum educator assigned to your group will call you before your visit to review the details of your scheduled program. Let us know of any special needs, such as learning or physical disabilities, and vocabulary and language levels. Please note that this information will allow us to better prepare for and meet your needs. In consultation with the community, we have developed a special approach for visually impaired students. The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible.
