Current Exhibitions

The Museum's exhibition areas, located in the loft of the Dairy Barn (Bldg. 88), can be visited from March to October.

The Farm: Plugged-In New!

Discover the impact electricity had on farmers’ routine household chores, from the turn of the last century to today, in this exhibition tracing the period of rural electrification in Canada. You can even see the Beck Circus, a travelling exhibit from the early 1900s that showed the wonders electricity brought to farms.

Tractors

Tractors is an exciting look at the "farmer's office in the field". This exhibition shows how the tractor has evolved from an unfamiliar oddity on Canadian farms to a commonplace tool in less than 100 years.
