    BIRTHDAY PARTIES
    Saturdays and Sundays
    Surprise your kids and their friends with an invitation to discover the fun side of science and technology while also enjoying free Museum access for the whole day. Choose from the following themes: All Aboard! Land Transportation (ages 5 to 6); Hocus Pocus (ages 6 to 8); Electricity and Magnetism (ages 6 to 12); and, Space Adventure (ages 6 to 12). For even more fun, add a SimEx™ Virtual voyages simulator ride for only $2 per person.

    PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR GROUPS
    Young audiences investigate and discover the marvels of science and technology in these specially adapted programs. In An Invisible Attraction, explore the wonderful world of magnets; in Energy from the Sun, Wind and Water, discover some of our natural sources of energy; and in Steamin’, explore life on the railway.

    Offered weekdays from September through June;
    duration is approximately 60 minutes; cost is $4 per child.

    FAMILY SPACE AND ASTRONOMY WORKSHOPS
    Curious about space and astronomy? These hands-on family workshops feature a new activity each month. Includes telescope observing (weather permitting), a guided tour of the heavens in the inflatable planetarium, or a tour of the Canada in Space exhibition.

    Payment is required upon registration.

    The Museum reserves the right to substitute workshops with insufficient registration.

    MARCH BREAK HANDS-ON SCIENCE
    AND TECHNOLOGY CAMPS

    March 12 to 16, 2007 — space is limited, so book early!
    Attention all space adventurers, budding scientists and engineers: come explore, discover and experiment with us in an action-filled week limited only by your imagination. Choose from March Break Camp I (6 to 8 years), or March Break Camp II (9 to 12 years).
    Registration begins December 4, 2006.

    SUMMER DAY CAMPS
    Take some gizmos and gadgets, add a dash of innovation, mix in some discovery, and combine with a group of trained camp leaders, and you’ve got the ultimate in science camps! Unlock the secrets of science, technology and engineering through hands-on activities and take-home projects. All of our popular summer camps include indoor and outdoor activities, and are geared to children ages 6 to 8 and 9 to 12. Please check our website for details.
    Registration begins February 19, 2007.

    If you booked a camp in 2006, you will automatically receive our new brochure in January 2007. If you have not previously reserved a camp with the Museum, you can request a brochure by contacting us at cts@technomuses.ca. Please include your full mailing address.

    SLEEPOVERS
    Fridays and Saturdays
    Pack your enthusiasm, your toothbrush and a sleeping bag, and join us for an exclusive night in the company of a Museum guide. Your group will sneak into the heart of our exciting exhibits, watch a movie and bunk down beside huge locomotives. Available themes include Puzzle Hunt (ages 6 to 10), Night in Space (ages 6 to 14), Mystery Night (ages 8 to 12), and Be a Detective (ages 12 to 14). Certain themes may also be adapted for groups of 35 or more. For even more fun, add a SimEx™ Virtual voyages simulator ride for only $2 per person.
