Holiday Western Fun at the Canadian Children’s Museum Gatineau, Quebec, December 15, 2005 — Calling all cowboys and cowgirls for non-stop western fun during the Holidays at the Canadian Children’s Museum in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. In conjunction with the exhibition Joshua’s Journey, presented until January 22, we invite you to our workshops where you can become a country & western fashion designer, learn how to lasso a calf, make some creative western wear, dance a few steps of the Electric Slide, paint a work of art with straw or make wire art, and listen to the western tale “Margo at the Rodeo”. Let your imagination run wild.
Become a Country & Western Fashion Designer December 26 to 31 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Become a fashion designer for a cowboy or cowgirl. Country & Western Fun January 1 to 7 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Make creative western wear, make wire art and listen to the story of “Margo at the Rodeo”. Howdy, Partner! January 8 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Learn how to lasso a calf, dance the Electric Slide, paint with straw and sing cowboy tunes.
