CBC/Radio-Canada Pleased CBOT Added to Bell ExpressVu Lineup

Ottawa — CBC/Radio-Canada is pleased to announce that Bell ExpressVu will now carry the full CBOT Ottawa signal, including all local programming and Ottawa Senators games carried by Hockey Night in Canada.

"We are pleased that Bell ExpressVu has agreed to add CBOT to its line-up," said Michel Tremblay, Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development, CBC/Radio-Canada. "This is good news for Bell ExpressVu subscribers and it's another important step toward achieving our objective of ensuring that all Canadians have the greatest possible access to CBC/Radio-Canada."

On March 5, Bell ExpressVu also announced that it would add CBVT Quebec City and CBC North (Mountain Time) and CBWFT Winnipeg to its permanent line-up.

"We're encouraged by these recent developments," said Tremblay. "Satellite television services are a vital component of the Canadian broadcasting system and we'll continue to work with Bell ExpressVu to ensure the carriage of our English and French language local and regional television signals."
