News ReleasesMarch 14, 2005 Robert Rabinovitch Comments on the Departure of Carole Taylor, O.C., Former Chair, CBC/Radio-Canada Board of DirectorsTogether with my colleagues from the Board of Directors and from Senior Management I want to express how sorry we are to see Carole leave CBC/Radio-Canada. As Chair of the Board of Directors, Carole Taylor's deep belief in the role of public broadcasting and in CBC/Radio-Canada has guided our actions and our strategy. We will miss her and we wish her all the best. Looking to the future, CBC/Radio-Canada remains on solid footing, thanks in large part to Carole's efforts as Chair. The Corporation has clear priorities and a set strategic direction that is generating positive results. We will work hard to continue to fulfill the expectations Canadians have of their national public broadcaster.
