Master Storyteller Norman Jewison Canadian filmmaker Norman Jewison is one of many successful Canadians in Hollywood. But his devotion to filmmaking as an art, and his devotion to the arts in Canada, sets him apart from many others. In these activities, students will gather and present information about film as media, create a poster to share information about Jewison and his films, screen and analyze controversial messages in Jewison’s films, debate the role of the government in the Canadian film industry, and research in-depth the impact of a Canadian of their choice on the entertainment and arts industry.
