From his CBC Radio debut at age nine, to his two decades at the helm of ABC's World News Tonight, Peter Jennings was Canada's most visible export to the frenetic world of American journalism. Radio reporter, foreign correspondent, television anchor and documentarian, Jennings died on Aug. 7, 2005 at the age of 67. At age 26, Jennings catapulted to fame as the host of the ABC Evening News, becoming America's youngest-ever network anchor.
