  • Peacekeepers and Peacemakers: Canada's Diplomatic Contribution
Canada enjoys considerable prestige on the world stage for its commitment to promoting international peace and security, and Canadians continue to find a way to further this Canadian legacy. In these activities, students will explore how conflict resolution methods are at work in the quest for world peace, create interpretive illustrations commemorating Canada’s efforts to make the world a safer place, examine the structure of the United Nations and debate its effectiveness, produce a display to showcase the history and assess the future of UN peacekeeping, and analyze Canada’s diplomatic history and write an editorial outlining the best direction for Canadian diplomatic policy.
