It was nothing short of a "national public health disaster." In the 1980s, thousands of Canadians were exposed to HIV and hepatitis C through contaminated blood products. Today they finally learn exactly how it happened. Judge Horace Krever, who led an inquiry into the disaster, concludes the Canadian Red Cross and provincial and federal governments are to blame. In this CBC News report, Health Minister Allan Rock responds to the Krever Report.
