  • Marshall McLuhan, the Man and his Message
Students will investigate McLuhan's theories of the global village, of hot and cool media, of re-tribalization and, of course, investigate his most famous aphorism, "the medium is the message." They will have the opportunity to see how McLuhan's theories apply to their own lives, and prepare presentations to share their information. They will research in-depth the life of a contemporary of McLuhan and examine McLuhan's influence, and share their profile using any media form they wish.
