  • Clearcutting and Logging: The War of the Woods
    Students will begin to gain knowledge about the forest industry in Canada. Other activities give them the opportunity to prepare a presentation about the economic impact of the forest industry on their chosen region of Canada or use the information to write an economic impact study, participate in a brief debate about the issue of clear cutting, and present a report on current controversies involving the forest industry in Canada.
