  • The Legendary #9: Maurice 'Rocket' Richard
Students learn about Maurice ‘Rocket’ Richard by creating a timeline of major events in his life. They study the story The Hockey Sweater to see how real life impacts on fiction, then analyze the reaction of Montrealers to Richard’s suspension. Students write a tribute to Richard, then create editorial cartoons, from different regional perspectives, honouring his life.
