When Andre Alexis isn't writing novels, he's usually listening to music, all kinds of music, from classical to world to Western swing. For him, the key to a great piece of music is in the rhythm, and you can hear that in his choices. Like his writing, the music he loves most is a little bit sly, sometimes odd, often playful, and always interesting. In Skylarkin', Andre plays some of his favourite music, spins some yarns, and creates the feel of lying around the living room with a friend who's great company, has a fabulous collection of cds, and can't wait for you to hear some of them.
