Welcome to Sunday Showcase! With our audience now at historic highs, it is clear that Sunday Showcase has indeed become Canada’s national theatre. The hour-long format at 10 p.m. (11 p.m. AT and 11:35 p.m. NT) on Radio One furnishes a broad canvas for playwrights to create big, new stories. Most Showcase dramas are repeated the following evening on Monday Night Playhouse.
Damiano Pietropaolo is the Host and Executive Producer of Sunday Showcase. Dave Carley is the Script Editor. Linda Grearson is the Casting Director.

“The World According to Charlie D” this week on Sunday Showcase. Well known to fans of Gail Bowen's mystery novels, Charlie D. runs the hottest, weirdest late-night call-in radio show in the country. In honour of Hallowe'en, his topic tonight is death, dying and how to shuffle off this mortal coil in style. His guest thinks she has a handle on the Big Sleep, until someone calls in to let her know that death may coming for someone very close to her before the clock strikes twelve. It's up to Charlie D. to try to prevent his hour of radio from becoming a real horror show. That's on Sunday Showcase starting at 10 p.m. (11 AT, 11:30 NT) on CBC Radio One.
