National Gallery of Canada - Musée des beaux-arts du Canada
Artissimo
Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm

For budding artists ages 3 and up accompanied by an adult. No registration required. Free with Gallery admission.

Artissimo is all about looking at art and making art. Experience the works that fill the Gallery, let your creativity run riot at the Artissimo kiosk in the Great Hall, then display your creation at the Artissimo Gallery. The Artissimo Gallery showcases, on a rotating basis, art made by children and their families at the kiosk, as well as art made by participants in workshops, clubs, camps, and other programs held at the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography. The latest hands-on looking activity for families is based on a large-scale reproduction of William Berczy’s 1809 painting The Woolsey Family, from our permanent collection.
