This search supports wild cards ( * and ? ) as well as boolean operators AND, OR and NOT. The search is not case sensitive.

aviation AND funding - this search will retrieve all documents that contain references to both aviation and
funding only
The * and the ? are wild cards.
avia* - this search wants to find all references that have avia as part of a word ie. aviary or aviation.
The ? indicates that you are looking for a single character match.
th?? - this search is looking for any 4 letter word that starts with, th.
