Clare Byrne - Global View: Ireland
Clare Byrne is a journalist living in Dublin who contributes features to national newspapers and news magazines, including the Irish Times and the Irish Independent. She is also a part-time French teacher. Clare moved back to Ireland late last year after some ten years overseas – in France, Belgium and, most recently, Canada.
She spent two years in Montreal from 2002 to 2004 where she worked as a reporter and newswriter with Radio-Canada International and was also a regular contributor to the Montreal Gazette.
