Coming up next on Voyage North 4 - 6 p.m.
Join our hosts Gerald Graham and Heather McLeod for Summer North each weekday afternoon between 4 and 6pm.
Be a panelist on Northwestern Ontario Reads! Argue the merits of a book you think everyone in Northwestern Ontario should read with four other panelists each defending their own chosen book. The debate will be held in front of a live audience at Waverley Library auditorium in Thunder Bay one evening in the week of February 12-16. Panelists read all five of the books being debated, then cast them off the short list one vote at a time until one title remains the victor.
This week we are seeking panelists. To be a panelist, just call or email us. Tell us your name, where you're from, what book you'd like to nominate, and why you're willing to defend it in this year's debate. You'll win a book or CD just for entering! If we then give you a spot on the panel, you'll win more books and other CBC loot, plus our gratitude and a small measure of local fame. So call or email us now! Toll-free 888 625-5077. In Thunder Bay it's a local call: 625-5077. Or email thunderbay@cbc.ca. For more information call Heather McLeod: 807 625-5016.
