The Central Newfoundland Morning Show provides national, regional and local news, weather and sports, along with current affairs items and stories of local interest from urban areas and the diverse rural communities surrounding the two towns.

The show keeps in touch with its listeners through several live remote broadcasts held throughout the year and regularly contributes items from Central Newfoundland to other CBC Radio morning shows in the province.

The program connects communities in a very tangible way, beginning with its structure. Randy Larcombe hosts from a studio in Grand Falls-Windsor, while Mike Aucoin joins him from 100 kilometres away in Gander.

The show links up electronically with St. John's, Corner Brook and Happy Valley-Goose Bay, providing news highlights from around the province.
