Three men were killed and another seriously wounded after a shooting early Sunday at an Edmonton nightclub, police said.
Witnesses said a fight broke out on the packed dance floor at the Red Light Lounge. Things calmed down but then someone — or perhaps several people — came back with a gun and began firing.
The shootings took place at the Red Light Lounge, a few blocks from busy Jasper Avenue.

A staff member at the lounge called police just before 2:30 a.m. MT to report that several shots had been fired, Edmonton Police Service spokesman Jeff Wuite said.
"We found two adult males deceased on the scene. Several more people were injured," he said.
"Those injured parties were taken to hospital where one adult male did succumb to his injuries shortly after arriving."
A fourth person remains in hospital in serious condition, Wuite said.
Thomas Tipo, a 17-year-old Sudanese refugee, was one of those killed.
"He was a very nice kid," said family friend Peter Schuang. "He was responsible for the family. His mom is a single woman, his father was killed a long time ago in the war."
Police interview 20 witnesses
Police gang and homicide units have talked to more than 20 witnesses, Wuite said. Police have made no arrests.
"Their investigation is now fully under way."
The other two deceased men have not been identified and police won't say if they were directly involved or innocent bystanders.
Tipo's family said he was not part of a gang.
